Large C1 Ceramic Nozzle Tip, 3-3/4″ Length Industrial Size by Kennametal

Posted on June 27, 2019 by Eric R. W.

C1 ceramic sandblaster nozzle by kennametal. We now provide the larger ceramic nozzle tips which are more commonly used for industrial size sandblasting equipment but they can be used for smaller systems as well. This size is known as the C1 which is 3-3/4″ long.

Benefits to Using these Larger Nozzle Tips:

  • Longer Lasting: the longer length of almost 4″ and more ceramic material allow these high nozzle tips to last longer. The are great for folks that blast large areas which require less downtime replacing nozzles in the middle of a project.
  • Great for High or Lower Output: these industrial nozzles are perfect for high output sandblasting. However, they are great for smaller projects requiring less abrasive output with longer lifespans– simply choose a smaller inner diameter size such as the 3/32″ ID or 1/8″ ID.

High Quality Alumina Oxide Ceramic by Kennametal

You’ll enjoy the premium quality of these large ceramic nozzles because they are produced by Kennametal which is one of the best nozzle manufacturers around. They are USA made from a longer lasting alumina oxide ceramic material that is denser than those cheap Chinese products that wear out quickly.

Each nozzle tip weights 124 grams (4.4 oz) of premium ceramic materials.

Large C1 Tip vs. Standard Smaller Size

For comparison purposes, the below shows the large C1 tip next to the standard smaller size which is common with most pressure pots.

While I don’t have a use for nozzles that large I do know that Kenametal makes very good cemented carbide lathe and milling inserts.

@PJ, yes all of there stuff is top notch. I am still a big fan of their Roctec nozzles- they usually cost almost $200 but they are worth every penny. I still have the same one from almost 8 years ago.
